KLEO MITROKOSTAS
ACTOR | PRODUCER

GETTING TO KNOW KLEO
On a fateful day in the fourth grade, Kleo was the only student enrolled in a local playwriting workshop. The teacher suggested she audition for her local community theater instead to learn more about what a play even was. Intrigued, Kleo joined their production of The Prince and the Pauper. She was given a red ball gown and was allowed to sword fight on top of a table. She hasn’t stopped performing since.

All grown up now, Kleo is an NYC-based actor and producer. Originally from Massachusetts, she loves living in NYC because she’s never been great at pahking a cah.

Kleo fell in love with acting because she’d like to be the President, a dragon rider, a reporter, an Olympian, Marcel the Shell's cousin, a librarian, and herself, all in one lifetime. She fell in love with producing because she is passionate about the kind of art being put into our lives. Kleo’s favorite thing in the world is a brand new story coming to life.

Kleo graduated with a B.F.A in Drama and a minor in producing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts in 2024. She has studied at The Meisner Studio and The Atlantic Acting School. She recently made her Off-Broadway debut, both as an actor and as a producer.

Apart from her creative career, Kleo is an avid reader of historical fiction novels, enjoys hiking in the Adirondacks, and loves eating dessert. She can often be found drinking a Diet Coke and going to the dog park. Her party tricks are that she’s really good at balancing things on her head and that she can name any Taylor Swift song after only hearing the first second.
Kleo looks forward to continuing to explore the world and the people who inhabit it through theatre, film, and storytelling.
